Hi, my name is Richard Read and I’m honoured that you have taken the time to find out a little more about me

My background is in manufacturing here in the UK.  I have run or owned businesses since my early twenties here. I have set up manufacturing companies, employed a large number of people and have been responsible for producing millions of pounds worth of products over the years.  I always enjoyed what I did, but some time ago, I began to realise that the time I spent working in my businesses far exceeded the amount of time I was able to spend with my family and friends.  When I set up my own business, I did it to give myself more freedom and to have the ability to earn more money.  I expected to have more time to spend with my family and to be able to provide and plan for our future…

So what happened?

Well … I ended up with less freedom, passing my children on their way to bed, no more money and with no time to make plans for the future.

Time for a change?

So, I started to ask myself – what did I really want?  Well, I knew what I didn’t want. I didn’t want to have to work 60-70 hours a week, I didn’t want to be responsible for a weekly wage bill and I no longer wanted to rent someone else’s property to house my business.  Having said that, I enjoy business and I was used to working for myself but I have  a wife and 4 teenage children who need to be supported and, without doing these things, I couldn’t see how I was going to be able to escape from what I was doing.

I like a challenge, so I started to search the Internet for ideas. I had got used to researching most things this way now, so why not use the Internet to help me find a new way of living? So I made a list and laughed at myself as I thought it was more of a dream than anything else…

• I wanted more freedom, I wanted to choose the hours that suited me
• I wanted something where I could earn a substantial income
• I wanted to work from home
• I wanted a business that I didn’t have to look after all the time
• I wanted to be able to work from anywhere in the world

Was it a dream?

Well, I laughed and I bet you’re laughing now! Was I just dreaming or was there a business I could set up from home and realistically earn the type of 6 figure income I wanted? I had often noticed adverts for “work from home opportunities” and in the past I’d been involved with one, for a short time, but I didn’t like the idea of having to pester your family and friends and make endless cold calls etc. so I’d shied away from this type of business ever since.  But with the Internet now being apart of everyday life, I began to realise how things could have changed and I started to find endless opportunities online. Some looked so appealing and I’m embarrassed to say I jumped into one or two and wasted quite a lot of money.

Time to wake up?

By this time, I began to doubt that there was anything that I could make money from online but then I realised my mistake. It was so easy to fill in an online form and part with the money but then when I’d got my hands on this “Money Making Cash Machine”, that I was promised, I had no idea how to use it!  Also, once the money was handed over the promise of help seemed to just disappear or was way above my head to understand. I was so frustrated, but I blamed myself, I knew nothing about these “businesses” or “products” OK, I could use the Internet but things change so quickly these days and I just didn’t have the skills.  But then it hit me…

It’s not what you know?

If I’d wanted to know something in the past, I had found a trustworthy person or company to explain and educate me. But this time, I had jumped in feet first with only a vague knowledge and limited support and I’d failed! So, before finally giving up I decided that I would look for an opportunity to work on line where I could get fully supported to learn the skills that I needed and set up the home business that I desired.
