What is an Autoresponder?

Quite simply, an Autoresponder, is probably the most valuable tool in an internet marketer’s tool box!

So, why is it so valuable and what can it do?

An Autoresponder can be set up as your own automated personal assistant.

It will

• Collect names and e-mail addresses for you through an “opt in” form on your website
• It can sort those details into different “lists”
• It can tell you where your “lead” opted in to your list (time, city and country)
• It can send any amount of pre written e-mails to your leads at any time and on any day

Your Autoresponder is Invaluable!

When somebody opts in to my list, how quickly will they buy something off me?

To be honest, and understand this clearly, NOT usually straight away!  You will be looking to build a relationship with your list, gain their trust … get to know them.

It’s been proven over and over again that … People buy from people they LIKE.  So getting someone to like you without speaking to them or even being in their company can take a while.  In fact, on average, people will read 7 of your messages before making a purchase.

But, it’s not as it you have to physically send them an e-mail once a day, or you even have to open your e-mail program to do anything, because your Autoresponder, will do all that for you … and it will send the same amount of e-mails to as many people in your list as you decide…. All you have to do is watch out for the replies and the sales!

So where do I get an Autoresponder and will it be FREE?

There are different programs you can use but the one I recommend is Aweber.  You just won’t believe what it can do for you.  Sadly, though, it is NOT free.  It will cost you a few dollars a month but for the amount of work it will save you, it’s an absolute steal!

Can I do without an Autoresponder?

There is a short answer to that question and the answer is NO!

To make money online, you will need to pay for a few things and, in my opinion, Aweber is definitely one of them. At times, Aweber, do a 30 day free trial, so watch out for that.
